We warmly welcome you to Hirsiranta in Ruokolahti, by the waters of Saimaa. Here, you'll find a variety of accommodation options ranging from hotel rooms to camping. Below, you can explore our offerings.
Hotel
Hirsiranta's main building houses a total of 11 rooms. The rooms are available as both double and quadruple occupancy. Each room has its own bathroom, toilet, and TV. Best of all, each room has its own external entrance.
Beach cabin
Discover our rentable beach cottage, which accommodates up to 13 people. The cottage offers stunning views of Saimaa and is located right by the shore. Naturally, a lakeside sauna is included in the package.
Camping
Would you like to arrive at Hirsiranta with a motorhome, caravan, or a tent? We offer electric hook-up spots for caravans and spaces for tents during the summer season. Just come and welcome!
Shore Granaries
Located right on the shore of Saimaa, our shore granary is a great choice for those traveling on a small budget. From the large window, you can admire the sunrise in the morning or sit on the porch in the evening with the sound of water lapping nearby.

Ruokolahti sports fields are located 3 km away.
Spot the lion
n the summer of 1992, several lion sightings were made in the areas of Ruokolahti, and the myth was born. Whether you can actually see a lion in Ruokolahti is unknown, but you can at least see the statue made by the municipality in Eukkoaukio.
Experience and see Vuoksi
The rapids itself is already a great sight, but it is crowned by the rapid displays organized by the city of Imatra.
